The 2016 Comeragh Bog Trot, which takes place on Saturday March 26th, is a unique mixture of part race, part orienteering, part hiking and all fun. Participants self-navigate over a 32 kilometre course that includes mountain, bog, forest and track. And then there is the weather!
For those who find the prospect of self-navigation too daunting there is the option of a 17-kilometre guided course available.
The 2016 Comeragh Bog Trot takes place in the beautiful Comeragh Mountains in Co Waterford. and is based in the village of Ballymacarbry. For those wishing to take part there is a wide range of accommodation available in the arear.
