Attached is the 4 course Set Christmas Menu from the Blue Haven.
The meal will be served at 8.00pm in the Aperitif, Wine & Tapas room, which has its own mini bar in case you run out of water at the table. !!!
After the meal stay in the Blue Haven bar where the Crazy Chester Band will be playing from 10.00pm.
Then, go to the Bacchus Night Club/The Folk House (only a few minutes walk away) where there will be free admission for CBHC members, provided you go in before 11.30pm.
Head for the Folk House/Bachuss Night Club
The John Connelly Band- A 5 Piece Rock/Contemporary band are playing at the Folk House from 10.30pm. They play Rock, Jazz & Swing music.
With one drink purchased at the Folk House you get ½ price into the Bacchus Night Club.
With 2 drinks purchased at the Folk House you get in to the Night Club free.
Blue Haven is offering 10% discount off accommodation for anyone who wants to stay overnight. Mention that you are part of the Club to avail of the discounted rates.

If there is enough demand the club will organise a bus will to bring people to and from the venue. The cost of this has to be ascertained.

Taxi fare from Kinsale to Cork is €40 and a minibus taxi from Kinsale to Cork is €70 (8 people)
This option would offer greater flexibility for people and would drop them directly home. Most people would have to get a taxi from the Mall home if we organise a bus.

The Cork Backpackers Hill Walking Club is one of the main hiking and mountaineering clubs in the Cork area having been established in 1982. The club is based in Cork City and goes hiking every second Sunday.
New Walkers are welcome to join us for a trial hill walk by signing up online or in person at Counihan's Pub, Pembroke Street, Cork on Wednesday’s from 9.00pm.
Sign Up & Social Nights: The Club meets in Counihan's Pub, Pembroke Street, Cork on the Wednesday night before the Sunday walk from 9:00 p.m. onwards. All are welcome.
Hillwalking Meeting Point: The Meeting Point on Sundays for walks is at no. 12, South Mall (opposite the Imperial Hotel). The meeting time is 8.45am and departure at 9.00am sharp.
